I recently passed my driving test. Bill was... my instructor, he was very approachable, patient and professional. He is up to date on all the latest Vic Roads rules, I honestly couldn't have asked for a better instructor! Bill , instructor from the Driving Zone was... a really great teacher who gave confidence and guidance. With just a few lessons the driving licence was obtained first attempt. He even organised another great driver to accompany on the actual test. Easy to relate to and conducted his business with politeness and understanding.read more

Had an excellent experience with James. He... is super professional and he loves what he does. James has taught me how to drive manual, basically from level zero and stalling every other minute to passing my driving test from the first attempt. I was a bag of nerves and hadn't been in a... car in ages. David was great at handling that and by the time it came to my test I felt much more confident. I cannot recommend David more highly, he is extremely approachable, professional and above all patient. By the end of our sessions I felt that there was no issue that would slip me on the test, his understanding of the road rules and test locations is second to none.read more

As an inexperienced driver I found the... lessons with my instructor Bill very informative, he was able to pin point little mistakes I was making early on and helped me progress my driving skills, I was a very nervous driver early on but by the end of our lessons I was completely comfortable headchecking, parking, turning the whole nine yards. Bill was always on time and very easy to talk to and get advice from, I have to give full credit to him and driving zone as there lessons where very detailed and tailored to the areas I needed to improve most, after ten lessons with bill it helped me pass my driving test first go. I came to this place because it had very... good reviews and was particularly looking to learn how to drive in a manual car. I was very lucky to get Graeme as an instructor. After 5 hours of practice, I already was driving much better thanks to him. Also he is very knowledgeable and will make you feel confident and safe on the road. Definitely recommend this school!read more

Alex was so Patient when he teaching me, he... also very cleaver to read my emotional difficulties, Such help me how to handle my Anxiety issue while driving. He also willing to repeatedly correction the same Issues I’ve made. Not to mention his Lesson cost less than other Driving school I have passed my Driving test today, Yeaayyyy:))read more

My instructor was David Rakhlin and I... couldn’t have asked for better instructor. Having no history and experience and within 6 lessons I got my licence! He was very thorough and made me feel completely comfortable. I’d recommend him to anyone learning to drive!read more

Got my license today in 1 shot. More than... happy so I have to write this review for anyone looking for driving instructor. Deeply recommend David Rakhlin at Driving Zone. I had been struggling to find good instructor for years for my very first licence. Cause me on and off to get to the end. So lucky found him on Port Melbourne Fam group. David is very kind, patient and his simple /smart ways when teaching or explaining on the road, just too easy to understand and remember - forever. Not just an instructor, thanks for all the fun, and care that we shared made 2 hrs lessons just gone fast with relaxing and enjoyable. I recently passed my driving test which was... a massive milestone for me. Graeme Kolmus was my driving instructor and was hands down the best instructor I've had. He really does break everything down to a system (even the dreaded parallel park) which suits anyone that prefers a rules/systems based approach to learning. I took lessons with Graeme to convert my... overseas license. He is a great professional instructor who can quickly spot your strengths and weaknesses to make lessons very effective. I drove with both Bill and Graeme, and they... both provided me with fantastic feedback and advice. Very easy to organise times and lessons with them and both very knowledgeable drivers (I learned a lot of things I wouldn't have without their experience and guidance). What can I say! Driving Zone is one of the... best companies I've ever had the experience of dealing with. Alex was my instructor and I honestly cannot speak highly enough of what an excellent, kind, patient and encouraging teacher he is. Having learnt to drive later in life, I was quite anxious - but my confidence built steadily lesson after lesson. The biggest thank you to my instructor David... Rakhlin who helped me get ready for my test and to drive safely. I had had a couple instructors before but David was by far the best and clearest at giving instructions and tips, especially for my parking. My lessons felt relaxed and I could really see myself improve after each lesson. When I went for my test I was feeling confident and passed on my first try. I got a chance to have my driving lessons... with Alex. The guy knows his stuff, was really patience. What amazed me was that he knew the latest Vic roads rule changes which even the Vic roads staff was'nt clear about. Would higly recommened the school.read more
