Choosing the right amount of time for each lesson is particularly important in creating a sustained method of learning without the loss of any of your ability, and enhancing what you have learned so far.
Initially with most learners, 60 minute lessons are a great amount of time to settle into the lesson and begin learning the fundamentals of your major and minor car controls and how to use them, learning to control the car whilst you are moving it in a straight line / lateral position and further more in handling the car around corners on both sides (left hand and right hand turns) whilst trying to comprehend the road rules at the same time. Driving lessons are highly invested lessons requiring a lot of focus and concentration which naturally can drain the energy out of a student. As you progress through lessons, you will find it becomes easier and the amount of time you can drive in lessons whilst trying to comprehend the relevant information by your instructor will get longer, allowing you to be able to have either shorter (45 minute lessons) or longer (90 min and 2hour lessons) as your ability to adjust to both becomes easier.
As a new learner looking to start off your learning journey with one of our expert instructors we suggest :
5x60min lessons or 10x60min lessons . You can use these lessons individually or double them up as you get more confident spending more time on the road in one go.
As you gain more ability you may look to switch to 45 min lessons however , we still believe more time on the road is better when you reach the ability to do so with full concentration for a longer period of time in lessons. Our 90 minute packs are also very good as they provide longer lessons than an hour, but not too long for some students needing to have that middle ground.
